About Producertech

Producertech first formed in 2009 with the launch of its first website Live Courses, featuring Ableton Live courses by certified trainer and classically trained musician Rob Jones.

After many subsequent websites, courses, and a successful YouTube channel with over 60k subscribers, Producertech is now a single online school with a wide range of titles on most major software and areas of music production.

Through its partnership with industry stalwarts, Loopmasters and Plugin Boutique, they are able to deliver official plugin tutorials, licensed samples and the best place to learn about Loopcloud on the internet.

Producertech’s mission is to deliver high quality and easy to follow tutorials that teach how to make electronic music in any style, brought to you by the best producers and instructors from around the world.

Tutors include drum and bass and dubstep legend Reso, Simon Shackleton aka Elite Force, Paul Maddox aka Spectre and many other elite artists like John Tejada and Martin Eyerer, each of whom brings something unique and insightful.

Genres covered in Producertech’s online courses include Techno, House, Trap, Drum And Bass, Dubstep, Tech-House, Glitch-Hop, Trance, and Bass.

In 2019 Producertech launched the All Access Membership

The Membership is a subscription service giving users unlimited access to all of Producertech’s online courses as well as weekly bonus material in the form of downloadable assets, projects and live streams from Rob and other artists.

About Rob Jones, Ableton-Certified senior tutor and founder of Producertech

Rob Jones is a classically trained musician, with piano as his primary instrument, and obtained a degree in music and sound recording (the prestigious Tonmeister course) from the University of Surrey.

Having honed his skills both at University and in the studios in London where he worked in a technical role, he began releasing music on labels like Lot49, Dead Famous and Erase, under the artist name Anarchy Rice.

Rob has been at the forefront of music software training since the very beginning, having kicked things off at Focusrite back in 2006. With both classical music and technical sound qualifications, as well as a wealth of presenting experience, he is ideally suited to the role of an online music trainer, and is 100% dedicated to sharing his knowledge and assisting others with what he believes to be one of the most rewarding things in life - making music!
