All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is remix a track by our friends HENGE!
Extra-terrestrial joymongers - HENGE - have been delighting audiences in the UK and Europe since they landed on Planet Earth seven years ago. Their scintillating live performances earned them ‘Best Live Act’ at the Independent Festival Awards and they have since cemented their reputation with two acclaimed albums, numerous tours and regular main-stage festival appearances.
Their music escapes definition, but occupies a space between rave and prog rock that nobody knew existed. It is energetic, subversive and invigoratingly playful, jovially going ‘where no one has gone before’. Ultimately, HENGE are spreading a message of hope which leaves audiences feeling amused and uplifted in equal measures
As always, we’re completely open to whatever style of remix you want to make, it’s all about creativity.

How to enter
To enter the competition you have to be a Producertech Member. If you’re not already a member, you can start a free trial here.
Once you're a member, create a profile on our Community Site (you’ll be asked to do this once you’ve signed up to the membership) - You’ll need one to submit your track.
The competition is open to any genre or style but we’ll be looking at the following:
- Originality/Creativity
- Arrangement Skills
- Mixdown/Production Quality
- Musicality
When you’re happy with your track, upload it to your profile on the community site, ready for judging - make sure you include Jafunk in your track title. Then do a post on the Remix Comp thread in the forum.
The shortlisted tracks will have live feedback from Producertech's Rob Jones and Henge band members in a livestream in May, in which the 3 winners will be chosen!
There is also the possibility of remixes being released by Henge in the future!
