After the huge success of our last remix competition with Ellie Dixon, we’re back with another artist lead comp.
This time, you’ll be remixing UK producer El Train for a chance to win an awesome prize bundle, our biggest and best yet!
The winning track will be released as part of a remix package on El Train's next EP on Shimmy Records.
The overall winner will also win a Maschine Mikro MK3, the miniature version of Native Instruments' flagship beat-making hardware + Komplete 13, the software bundle to end all software bundles!
And that’s not all - We’re also giving the overall winner 1 year of free Loopcloud, that means access to vast libraries of Loopmasters samples.
El Train will also chuck in a vinyl copy of his album for good measure!

How To Enter
To enter the competition you have to be a Producertech Member. If you’re not already a member, you can start a free trial here.
Once you're a member, create a profile on our Community Site (you’ll be asked to do this once you’ve signed up to the membership) - You’ll need one to submit your track.
You’ll be remixing El Train’s 'Lessons in Love'
The competition is open to any genre or style but we’ll be looking at the following:
- Originality/Creativity
- Arrangement Skills
- Mixdown Quality
- Remix Skills
When you’re happy with your track, upload it to your profile on the community site, ready for judging - make sure you include El Train Remix Comp in your track title. Then do a post on the Remix Comp thread in the forum.

One of the UK scene’s brightest emerging producers El. Train is known for his ability to blend together Hip-Hop, R&B and Electronic beats with a heavy nod to the US West Coast beats scene. In the last few years, he's released music on labels such as Kitsuné, Darker Than Wax and Jakarta Records, and his self-released debut album 'Puzzles' came out in June 2019.
